Star Ranch Calendar

New Info!!!

Star Ranch Office number is 512-273-2257.

FOOD – Our food team has arranged for a variety of different cuisines each day during the convention. Breakfast will be served every day poolside at the Nekkid Parrot Café (except the Premier Breakfasts). Lunch and dinner will be either catered or provided by food truck vendors, depending on the day.  Please let the office know if you have any special dietary needs.

ENTERTAINMENT – Being so close to Austin, you would think this would be a snap. Unfortunately, the pandemic was not kind to the music industry. Bands we used to book are either gone or have doubled their price. We have managed to secure music for each night of your visit, including a couple of local performers, a live band on Friday night and two of our best DJs.  We hope you enjoy it.

REGISTRATION – Please make sure that we know you are coming, even if you are not staying on the property. Our Hospitality Team is preparing a welcome for you, but it won’t be ready if we don’t know when you are arriving. Please call the office if you haven’t already.

LODGING – We have no more hall rooms or cabins available. We do, however, have plenty of RV spaces (mostly 30amp). Please call the office if you wish to be put on our waitlist. The nearest town is Elgin – 12 miles or 16 minutes away. We only recommend the Holiday Inn Express & Suites (newly renovated). Their phone number is 512-285-3900. We will provide FREE shuttle service, once in the morning and once at night.

GOLF CARTS – We have arranged with a local supplier to provide a golf cart rental during your stay for $300/week. No daily rentals, since these are brought in from another nearby city. Please call the office to arrange your rental.

ACTIVITIES – The Council has planned LOTS of fun for you. Water volleyball, petanque, washers, pickleball, indoor games, yoga, biking, etc. have all been planned for your enjoyment. You might even win a towel!

OPENING RECEPTION – Please join me and my wife, Jennifer, at our home – Big Red – Tuesday evening beginning at 5PM.  Our local vineyard is serving up a few of their special vintages, along with some appetizers from the Food Team.

VENDORS – Not sure yet, but we should have a number of local artisans offering jewelry, clothing, leatherwork, stained glass and other items of interest. Be sure to leave some room in your suitcase to carry a few things back from Texas.

VINYL DAYZ – We will be playing one side of your favorite LP album at the Pool on Friday and Saturday. Bring your favorite album along for the ride…

2021 Boat Party
Sep 11 @ 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

The biggest HCN event of the Fall is back!

Saturday September 11th.

We will be in contact with the boat company to make sure safety protocols they prescribe are followed. This event is subject to changes.

But normally…

We take a boat ride with over 100 nudists and head out to Hippie Hollow for day of fun in the sun, and swimming and grilling up burgers and more in this full day event!

This is an event not to be missed!

This year’s theme is…Heroes!

Let your mind run wild for costume ideas.

Pick your favorite hero; pick an almost forgotten hero, just be a hero and join us!

2021 Nude 5K Racing Series
Sep 18 @ 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Hey all you runners out there!

AANR-SW continues with the popular Nude Racing Series. Open to the public, this unique, family-oriented, clothes-optional event is a series of 5K cross-country races hosted by nudist clubs throughout the Southwest Region.

While competitive enough for many serious runners to compete for points and awards, there are scores who choose to participate just for the sheer fun of it. This year five AANR-SW clubs will be hosting a series five races.

Competing in the Nude Racing Series, runners will accumulate points at race they complete. Runners compete in age and gender categories and must finish at least half the scheduled races to be eligible for Series awards.

Series points are earned based on each racer’s finish time. At the end of the season, the points from each runner’s three best races are totaled, and Nude Racing Series awards awarded to the highest point totals in each category.

***Due to the COVID-19 outbreak a number of races are being rescheduled. We try to have the up to date info, but check with each resort to find out for sure.
