Hill Country Nudists will be at Hippie Hollow on Saturday July 22 from 9 am til 1 pm(officially) You are welcome to stay longer.
We will gather at our historical spot of below the second restroom. Look for the HCN Flag!
Bring towel, sunscreen plenty of water and any snacks you may want, there is no food truck on site(a fact that still surprises me).
NO GLASS ALLOWED AT HIPPIE HOLLOW (PARK RULES)
This is a chance for us to enjoy some sun and chat together.
HCN will be holding its first Darts Night!
Come try your luck or skill for this fun event.
Our host will have two dart boards so twice the people can enjoy.
Plus, if we ask nicely, they might let those not playing darts jump in the pool to cool off in between games!

The Hill Country Nudists Annual Boat Party is Saturday September 9th.
This year’s theme is “Don’t Worry, Be Hippy”

The World Naked Bike Ride is happening Saturday September 30th in Austin.
This is not an HCN event, so if you wish to participate, it is up to you to RSVP on their Meetup page.
Not everyone that participates goes nude, but usually in some state of undress.

We will begin to gather around 7:15 and expect to depart just after sunset. Approximately 8:00.
Decorate your bikes with lights, glow sticks, etc. Speakers for music are a plus!
The ride is fairly easy with rest stops about every 15 min. All in it takes about 2 hours.
George Krause is a photographer who has done some amazing work. His series of Sfumato nudes was a new technique he created in surrounding the subject with light.
Twice in the past we have visited his shows and at a set time we go out, disrobe and come back in nude. Nudes during a nude art exhibit, who knew?
These were both very successful with no one being offended, and some pictures were taken and polite conversations had.
We have another opportunity to do another nude flash mob for one of his exhibits.

Hey all you runners and walkers out there!
AANR-SW continues with the popular Nude Racing Series. Open to the public, this unique, family-oriented, clothes-optional event is a series of 5K cross-country races hosted by nudist clubs throughout the AANR Southwest Region.
While competitive enough for many serious runners to compete for points and awards, there are scores who choose to participate just for the sheer fun of it. This year five AANR-SW clubs will be hosting a series five races across 4 resorts.
Competing in the Nude Racing Series, runners will accumulate points at race they complete. Runners compete in age and gender categories and must finish at least half the scheduled races to be eligible for Series awards.
Series points are earned based on each racer’s finish time. At the end of the season, the points from each runner’s three best races are totaled, and Nude Racing Series awards are given to the highest point totals in each category.

And we need some folks to help us celebrate!
There will be cake and ice cream along with this potluck dinner.

HCN is a proud sponsor of Keep Austin Beautiful.
We have helped keep a section of Barton Creek clean by holding trail clean up for nearly 20 years.
Saturday October 21st at 9:30 AM we will meet at the Gaines trailhead along MoPac and walk in the 1/2 mile to our clean up start location, Twin Falls and start our section which takes us to Sculpture Falls.
This is a great time to chat with each other and the public as we usually get a lot of “thank you!” from passers by.
Bring sturdy shoes, water, and anything you may want to help pick up trash.
Trash bags will be provided as well as some trash grabbers.
This is a great opportunity to wear your HCN t shirts to show the pride we have for helping keep our city clean!
After the clean up we can grab lunch together!
HCN is starting a monthly poker night.
These will be a Friday Night event.
Starting at 7 pm (show up around 6:30) Finishing up about 9 pm.
The location changes for each event so when you see the email, please RSVP.
